This heart painting I’m particularly attached to! Full of texture with fabrics, plaster, oils and glazes.

This is a 30″ square stretched canvas that I painted for my daughter Sara’s room. She’d seen a print of this & I used this exercise as practice. This concept is not an original of mine….

It’s a modern twist on a classic still life. A bright color palette of pinks and green. Instead of the usual apple for the teacher gift I painted this large square canvas for one of Jonathan’s teacher’s as a gift and have enjoyed revisiting this painting, selling several from my etsy shop.

Here is is again but on a much smaller scale! I started painting matchboxes as tiny bits of art.

I’ve sold a number of these tiny paintings on a matchbox, given many as gifts along with a pretty candle. This started as a self-challenge; painting really small after painting murals. Instead of lighters or ugly matchboxes laying around why not have a pretty little piece of art!?!

These trays were actually painted before I had chickens of my own.
