This chandelier was the right size, shape, style but not the right color, an ivory. Paint and glazes refinished to fit into this beautiful kitchen! Cabinets and doors recieved a new finish to make them look old. Island and stove hood refinished with an aged black.

Here’s a close-up of the finished chandelier.

The hood, stove area and large island were painted black, then distressed.
An area between the kitchen & dining room with beautiful glass front cabinets which also got the treatment.

Pantry door received the same glazing as the kitchen cabinets.

Crackle finish on closet doors.

Crackle on walls in this half bath.

Plaster adds texture while glazes give the texture depth, color and richness to this dining area of the eat-in kitchen. The beams in the ceiling have also been glazed with an antiquing technique.

Similiar technic in another setting. Close ups shown below.

Lusterstone in a dining room.

Grape design buried in & under the “broken” plaster in the kitchen above. Various layers of glazes give the wall below depth and warmth without the use of texture.

Several colors applied to this wall gives a wonderful Old World look to standard drywall.
